Integrated cell balancing, temperature and voltage control system

The NG Series of batteries have an integrated balancing, temperature and voltage control system (BTV) that must be connected to an external Lynx Smart BMS 500A NG or Lynx Smart BMS 1000A NG battery management system (BMS). The BTV monitors each individual battery cell, balances the cell voltages and generates an alarm signal in case of high or low cell voltage or in case of high or low cell temperature. The BMS (purchased separately) receives this alarm signal, which then switches off the loads and/or chargers accordingly.

Advanced Monitoring and Control Features

Integrated with smart technology, this battery works seamlessly with the Lynx Smart BMS NG and VictronConnect app. You can monitor key parameters such as battery voltage, current, and temperature through real-time data available on your mobile device, ensuring proactive management and control for enhanced performance.

Monitoring and control take place via VictronConnect (every BMS model has Bluetooth), a GX communication centre or the VRM Portal. You can view battery parameters such as cell status, cell voltages, battery current and temperatures in real-time. The battery firmware is automatically updated by the BMS.

Built to withstand challenging environments, the 12.8V/100Ah NG battery has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. It is compact, measuring 235 x 197 x 160 mm and weighing only 9 kg, allowing for easy installation and flexible mounting options that fit a variety of setups.

Long Life Cycle and Low Self-Discharge

This battery boasts a long cycle life of up to 5,000 cycles at 50% Depth of Discharge, delivering dependable power over time. Its low self-discharge rate of 3% per month ensures that it stays ready for use, making it a sustainable choice for long-term energy storage needs.
